Walking with Alpacas

Enjoy fabulous time in the company of these beautiful, gentle creatures. Firstly, you'll learn some fascinating facts and how to handle our gorgeous alpacas, then you'll have the opportunity to walk them around our lovely alpaca farm - enjoying the goats, sheep, chickens, and llamas along the way. It's then time to give them a delicious snack before photo opportunity time! Take as many snaps as you like to remember your lovely day Alpaca Walking. Back at the alpaca farm you can browse our gift shop before you head back home.
Alpaca Walking is a truly lovely and relaxing way to spend time with family and friends. We're based in Henley in Arden within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon, Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry and the rest of the West Midlands and Warwickshire.

Walking Alpacas in beautiful Warwickshire

Our award winning Alpaca Walking 90 minute Experience attracts visitors from all over the country. Why? Because  we offer you a fabulous hands on experience on a real alpaca farm, well away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, in beautiful surroundings with wonderful animals!

We're lucky enough to be located in Shakespeare's beautiful county, yet close enough to major road networks so you can easily get here from any part of the country. Our 64 acre alpaca farm has rolling hills, peaceful lakes, and the most  beautiful, gentle creatures you could hope to meet.

What happens on an Alpaca Experience?
You'll learn some fascinating facts about our gorgeous alpacas, then you'll meet our wonderful animals including our playful goats, cheeky llamas, Swiss Valais Black Nose Sheep, rare breed Grey Face Dartmoor Sheep, chickens, rare breed pigs, geese, emus, peacocks, turkeys and much more. So much cuteness and lots of feeding opportunities!

After your safety briefing we'll pair you up with an alpaca and get ready for the walk! Off we'll go, taking a steady pace (often called alpaca pace!) through our rolling fields on a lovely walk that lasts around 40-50 minutes. You'll have plenty of time to bond with your lovely alpaca as you stroll through the countryside. We'll then stop off at one of our lakes for photo opportunity time and we'll show you how to get a fabulous selfie with your new fluffy friend. On arrival back at the farm it'll be time to give your buddy a snack before last photos! Take as many snaps as you like to remember your lovely day.

Why choose us?
We are a small family business and pride ourselves on not only giving you a first class experience but also offering you a real inside look as to what life is really like on an alpaca farm in rural England. Our guests often leave as friends and as such we find our customers come back time and time again. We believe we offer a totally unique experience as our surrounding countryside is so beautiful, our animals so amiable, our walk so picturesque and our inside knowledge is second to none. When you visit us you're not visiting a large, faceless farm park, you've visiting a family home, with real farmers who are happy to share our farm with you.

Who can take part?
The walk is suitable for all able bodied people over the age of five. (We find younger children cannot manage the walk and the ground is unsuitable for pushchairs. We advise parents of very young children to look at the Alpaca Encounter instead.) Everyone else taking part should be capable of walking a fair distance over bumpy and often muddy ground without the use of walking aids. We really don't recommend this experience for the very elderly who cannot walk a fair distance, particularly if attending singularly with grandchildren. Please look at the Alpaca Encounter instead for your own comfort and enjoyment. Dogs cannot attend or be left behind in cars.

What if I would like to come in a large group?
We welcome large groups. Please email us if you would like to make a large booking.

What if I would like a private experience?
We are inundated with requests for private experiences due to the pandemic. Please email us and we will try and accommodate you if we can. Our private experiences take part on weekdays.

Which tickets do I need?
Alpacas are herd animals and won’t walk alone, so experiences can only be booked for two or more people. There are various tickets you can select and you'll see all of the options on the booking page.

Can children walk alone?
All children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a full paying adult at all times. Children aged 10-16 can walk their own alpaca but must be accompanied by a full paying adult walking their own alpaca. Strictly no children under five.

How do I book?
We highly recommend using a laptop/desktop to book in, phone software isn't always compatible.  Upon booking, your confirmation will be sent to you immediately, look out for an email from Booking Hound. If you don't receive it instantly, please check your junk folder.

Can I buy a Gift Voucher?
Yes you can! Please click here or visit our 'Store Page'. Check out the 'booking page' first to work out how much you need to 'put on your voucher'.

Important: Please note we do not allow anyone such as taxi drivers or family members giving lifts to remain on site whilst we walk due to insurance reasons. Please arrange to drop off and collect after the experience - thank you.
