Meerkat Mayhem!

The time is finally right! Meerkat Experiences are arriving!

Meerkat Experiences

We've been considering meerkats for some years now. I mean who wouldn't want these funny little critters in your life! But just like every other decision you make when you run a business, there has to be a lot of thought and planning.

Although meerkats have been on our 'list' since 2016, it's only now we've felt ready to take the leap. Meerkats need very certain conditions to live in - heat, UV light, plenty of sand to dig in and so on. Their diet is also hugely important to their well being, so it's essential to do lots of research before taking the plunge. This year we've grown all our own veg on the farm, so we're now confident we can feed our new arrivals with an excellent diet.

Their enclosure is really important. Their happiness and wellbeing is a number one priority, so ensuring both their comfort and enrichment from their living environment has to be just right.

Only when all of this is in place, is it the right time to welcome in a 'mob' of meerkats. It's been five years in the planning, so we're very excited to be taking this new step, which will give a happy home for our new arrivals and a welcome attraction for our guests.

We hope to see you soon at 'Meerkat Manor'.
